You read that right – it is all about me and how we have given up life in the city to take on a more laid back country life. Me, Bob and the three dogs.
WHAT’S THE SCOOP?
We are trading up from a 1,400 square foot home where we’ve lived for the past 17 years to a 3,000+ square foot home with a 2,000 square foot unfinished basement! WHEW! That’s a lot of house to make our own. Yes, I know, typically people our ages start to think about downsizing, but we tend to do things a little differently. I’m looking forward to having a dedicated space for my businesses and 40 acres for the dogs to run on and Bob to garden.
When not blogging, I have a couple of businesses that I run – a graphic design company (Grafix Unlimited) and I also make hand poured soy candles (Two Little Blackbirds).
WHY A BLOG?
I know how much great information I have gleaned from other bloggers and want to give back. I know we will be facing some issues with this new house – yes we went in with our eyes open – and if I can help any one work out their similar problems, then mission accomplished!
